Porn Addiction? Take Responsibility for Your Choices

You may tell yourself, ?I?m sick of this porn addiction, I?m quitting. Why does this stuff always happen to me? I never get any breaks.?

This is the victim mode. Poor me!

You probably also tell yourself, ?This is what I want, nobody can tell me what to do.?

Every day, hour and minute you make choices about your life. You choose what to wear, eat, where to live, and where to work or go to school.

You choose your friends and your relationships.

You can make different choices. If something isn?t good for you can choose to get the help you need in order to change or you can choose to be a slacker and complain about your misery.

Well quit complaining and do something about your life. Get over the poor me stuff. Reach out for help. 40 million people are addicted to porn. You?re not alone!

Quit feeling ashamed and embarassed about your addiction. Quit feeling sorry for yourself. Enough already!

Reflect on the following:

Given me as I experience me and the world as I perceive it,
of all the places in the world I could be,
of all the things I could be doing,
I have chosen to be here and to be doing this. -Anonymous

If you want a better life you have to put the work in to get a better life. Feeling sorry for yourself, denying you have a problem or ignoring the problem will get you know where. You aren't alone. You'll be surprised who will be put on your path to help you. Never give up. You can do it. I believe in you!
